The body structure overall should be one of great strength

Most of the Aussie Bulldogs are born naturally with a good screw tail. Others, having a longer tail, may have it surgically

Colouring:
The Aussie Bulldog comes in quite a few wonderfull colours.
Straight colours, in shades of red, brindle, fawn, and white.
Also pied markings, with one colour more dominant than the other. Aussie Bulldogs colouring makes them very attractive

Care Of The Aussie Bulldog
Aussie Bulldogs are a joy to own. Extremely loving and loyal, yet their antics bring laughter into every day!
Because of the pink skin on their faces, care must be taken in the sun. Just like us, blockout cream protects them too.
Aussie Bulldogs do feel the heat, so a tub of water or a hose down on a hot day will be appreciated. A cool shady place to lie, away from the sun, is also needed.
Aussie Bulldogs are not fussy eaters, and three cups of quality balanced dry dog food, and plenty of fresh water, is all they need to keep them happy. But they love treats and fish, chicken, and beef, are healthy additions to their diet.

The support and determination of some select breeders have continually kept the Aussie bulldog breeding program together .For a brief on the development of the "Aussie" , we have found that the best result was achieved by generations of selective breeding, staying close to the English Staffordshire Bullterrier, Bullmastiff & British Bulldog and then concentrating entirely on mating Aussie Bulldogs to Aussie bulldogs with most successful results.

We are looking for continued consistency of a Bulldog that should produce males around 18/20" to the shoulder , and head circumference of 21 to 24" . Body weight of 28/35 kgs.  Females should grow in Height to 17/19 " to the shoulder and weigh 23/28KGS when fully developed. Up to date we are more than happy with what we have produced being a small breeding program. Pups  we believe should be priced according to their quality .Our  main interest is purely to see the continued development of this Breed with genuine enthusiastic breeders.

The success in breeding Quality dogs is not just to pick a breed or breeds that you like and put a pair together. It is most definitely to put the best specimen of that breed that you can find for your breeding program and without any worry of inconvenience to travel or to pay for a service you should mate that select individual to another equally select, or if possible a better individual, keeping most of the pups up to an age of approximately 16 weeks until you are satisfied that you have chosen the best from that particular litter. As those puppies mature to breeding age remember always to stick to the important policy of looking to improve with every mating that you do. This is not always easy , and we will admit that sometimes it is nearly impossible. Only the most dedicated of breeders will survive , which is good , because this ensures dedication in most cases towards a better animal in the long run.

With all the negative publicity that British Bulldogs have received we think that it goes to far sometimes in generalizing breeders, and their dogs. British Bulldogs are today without any doubt a very unique animal and the facts are that there happens to be a lot more of them that can whelp naturally , mate naturally , breath & eat without difficulty and tolerate hot conditions more than people realise. This can be credited to long term dedication from select people who have financially and emotionally put everything into this breed. I would also like to say that this has always been my thoughts. Statements made and publicized previously about the British Bulldog had not been made by myself, but from other temporarily interested parties into our Aussie Bulldogs. We are interested only in trying to produce a different type of bulldog hoping to eliminate any problems that occur, and do occur when breeding just about any breed of any animal. No person can be held responsible for dogs having genetic defects. But if they continually breed without any interest or concern of trying to fix the problem knowing that it is there, they are fools. I consider myself a plain bloke without flash words or scientific explanations , but I am for sure a dog enthusiast and so is my wife Tina.
